There's really no better way to say it - the SDF by Abel is a true joy to fish. Everything - from the meticulous fit and finish to the silky-smooth drag to the "in hand" feel - is absolutely top notch. Abel claims the SDF (Sealed Drag Freshwater) is the best freshwater reel they've ever seen, and we believe them. Unfortunately, all that amazing comes with an amazing price. This specific model with slate gray finish, native brown trout drag knob and rosewood handle runs $1.1k at retail. This reel has been sitting on a collector's shelf since purchase. It has never been fished and includes the original pouch and box. Our rating of "Like New" is an understatement. Check out the photos and video for more details.
